Decided to get Jardini Arowana...and Wild Discus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's a lot of money to risk. I'd try something cheaper first. I've got six 5" blood parrots and three 8" plecos with my 14" jar. Everyone does ok as long as the jar is well fed. If he's hungry he'll nip, but so far no dead or damaged fish.

I only have a 125gallon aquarium.

How big is your Jar? Is it above 6 inches?

he is right @ 6" to 7" there is also a 9" to 10" RTC in there but he behaves...

All fish are kept well fed enought to keep them happy and the water clean.

*UPDATE* Wellllll woke up today and noticed some descaling on the side of one of the Discuses. So i guess the Jardini is outta the community. I took him back to my LFS and they gave me full Store credit!!!! I decided that i want to have a good community without grumpy fish. so i guess in conlusion "NO" Jardini's will not get along with Discus fish. Jardinis are just too grumpy and they are for solo tanks. the end!

Should have kept the Jar and given up the other fish..........

fish aren't grumpy, it's just how jars are
