Decided to jump into the pbass game!

Its funny your guys bass dont like your bichirs.
THey dont have much of a choice in my tank when i have 3 bichirs from 16-20".....not much they can do about em. Just logs on the bottom :)

You might have to worry about those loaches in a little bit. The pbass will grow much much faster than them, and in a few months they might threaten a small loach.

To keep stuff off sand bed make sure you have really good water flow. Keep it moving

X2 - Those are Orino's - Nice pick ups! They do seem a lil small and that bicher may be able to eat them right now.. It's a risk to keep them together while the cichla are that small. I have (4) 6"-8" Orino's with a 11" bicher now in one of my tanks and they get along fine but I also feed very well and regularly. I'd remove the bicher for a few weeks and grow your cichla out a bit more just to be safe.

Welcome to the cichla club bro!!

Thank you sir! They are kinda small but they are growing so fast. The bichir is incredibly docile and hasn't even looked at them. They've been in that tank with him for over a week now. I feed them 3 or so times a day, theyre on frozen bloodworms at the moment. Trying to get them on pellets. I think I enjoy these guys too much :)

Well, like everyone said I finally caught the bichir trying to nip at the tail of one of my bass. He instantly got evicted and now they're in there with a few plec's, smaller loaches, and a tire track eel. Most of which will be put in another tank soon as well.
