Maybe a little raised. Could just be a wound. Only hesitation about that is that usually wounds heal in a day or two tops on these fish. This has been there for over a week.

I can't suggest topical treatments since it's near the gills. I've been wondering about betadine with a Q-tip to stem the flow. I wouldn't let it leaked to mouth, gills and eyes though. Can you manage that? Other than that, not concerning to me though.
