What kind of decorations would be good for a group of red belly piranhas in a 75 gallon tank?? I already have a pile of rocks on one side but the rest is clear. I was thinking of some driftwood and maybe a cave of some sort but I want them to have hiding places so they are not as skiddish. What do you guys think???

Driftwood, plants anything that gives a sense of security.

okay thanks man Im about to go to petsmart and get some stuff.

If you are getting real wood there get the mopani, not the grapevine.

i say lots of driftwood and subdued lighting. kinda like my tank.

I went to petsmart and spent 75 bucks on decorations. I got a ton of plants and small cave. I also got alot of rocks from my backyard and I boiled them for about 10 minutes and rinsed them over and over and I piled them up and make some caves and put some plants in there too. I can already see a huge difference in the piranhas. they swim around much more and are much less scared. I am really happy with all this. thanks for everyones help. I will post pictures soon.

thats a really nice looking tank flopping flamingo. It has a really nice natural look to it.

PICS!

I cant post any tonight but I promise I will tommorow. They used to all stay on the bottom but now they are swimming on the surface and in the middle of the tank. Theese decorations really changed everything.
