Can anyone offer some suggestions on a nice decorative pleco for a 180-gallon freshwater planted tank? I've got two nice Bristlenose plecos putting work in, but would really like a "show" pleco to stand-out a bit from the otherwise neutral/natural setting.

The Zebra has been high on my list....would stand-out a bit against the brown substrate as well. I fear the Gold Nugget would disappear against the backdrop.

Re: Royal Pleco...this has always been one of my favorites, but no "real" wood in the set-up and I always thought they would munch on plants?

Not to bad and nowhere near as expensive as a zebra. easy to breed too if your into that. I think Jeff Rapps has them on his list now.

Now a question for you . I noticed the Marble Motoro in your avatar. I was thinking of getting one myself how do your discus handle him in there tank?

hi bro
i got 3 of them (1 male & 2 females)
they are really beautiful plec's but...unfortunately i can only enjoy them during feed time late at night...
