RIP Joey.

I'm sad that you are no longer here with us but I am happy that you are no longer suffering. I still have the last text I got from you on my phone from the 16th. You ended the text saying "I'll call you when I have the strength to talk. It's good hearing from you". Little did I know that I would never get to hear from you again.

Rest in peace my friend, my buddy, my kumpare.

Joey, I didnt know you personally, but the name R1_Ridah was omipresent on MFK for as long as I can remember. A lot of people on here loved you, as you can see the enormous outpouring of love from the MFK community over the last week or so.
We're all united because we all share the same love and passion here on MFK and even though I didnt know you, I feel like I lost a family member. Wherever you are now, I hope they let ya set up a badass Cichla tank.

MFK lost one of the good ones today... it's strange, the fishkeeping community. We're a strange bunch, and losing one of our own is very surreal and very sad.

RIP dude.

I feel the same way; never knew him personally, but just the thought of him no longer being with us is very surreal and very sobering.

Joey: I pray that you have found peace wherever you are, and that your family finds the strength to get through this difficult time.
