I couldn't believe this when I read it. I met Joey several years ago and he invited me to go over to his house to check out his 600 gallon tank because I was going to set up a 750 and wanted some filtration ideas. We ended up selling several fish amongst eachother over the years and would call eachother to see what was out there. I haven't talked to him in about two years or so and then I just saw this. He was a great guy and has a great family. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. RIP Joey
 
Wow this is not what I wanted to read today at all. I had no idea I haven't been around any of the boards lately at all. I am at a loss for words. The hobby has lost someone special. RIP R1-Ridah

I haven't been on here for awhile and I was shocked and saddened to hear that R1_Ridah had passed away. I offer my sincerest condolences to his family. Though I may not have known him personally I was lucky enough to talk to him on here and be inspired by his tanks and attitude toward his fellow hobbyists. The few times I spoke with him, he was always polite and helpful and I always appreciated it. May God Bless you Joey and may you find your way home, my prayers are with you and your family.
 
Hello everyone.. I have been in contact with Joey's family. And they wanted to tell you all, Thanks for all your support, prayers & love! It really means alot to them. Joey has Inspired Many, and will continue to inspire more through his legacy on this forum. He is missed & will never be forgotten!
