I'm sure it'll become possible eventually, just like how it's now possible to keep jellyfish - but I think it will take a couple more decades or so.
It'd be completely awesome to keep anglers, however.

I agree there, 30 years ago no one could keep coral, now look where we are...

no... theres a freshwater limpet that emits bioluminescent goo though.

i thought they were deep, just not as deep as vipers and anglers. very awesome fish though. liveaquaria stocks them now and again.
