Deer Slayer???

I just named it Deer Slayer as a goofy title, being my daughter was near the deer. That deer hangs around a protected area so it probably won't get killed at deer season. Absolutely no hunting allowed in the city limits or anywhere near it. I know all about, that you shouldn't feed a wild animal, since it makes them easy targets. But the damage was done, this deer has been fed regularly by locals. and was quite friendly.
 
Nice buck. A little over a month until the Iowa bow season opens. I can't wait. But I do agree with the others, one kick from him can cause some real damage. I only like to be that close when i'm gutting em out;) .
 
Heck yes!!!! Bow season opens sep. 23 for the youth hunt here I think. We've been seeing alot of big bucks up at the property this year!!!!!
