Definitely, last ones for a while...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In a few more weeks they are going to be balloons! Seeing these SB makes me miss mine. Too bad Godzilla ate my little beast.

Godzilla was a true monster.

I'm doing my best to fatten them up. Frank said that a couple of them started out with a humpback like a 'king' style short body, but they lost it, so i'm hoping i can bring that back out with some power feeding.

So fat!

You can see the humpback 'king' body type compared to a normal Short Body albino.

They're not really my thing but I'm happy you're happy. :) They are like little aliens. And they keep mirroring each other... maybe they are aliens.

I see a gorgeous FW archer - another on my wish list. How many do you have, and do they get after each other or no?

I have four of those archer, they don't fight, not that I've noticed anyways.

is the one on the right the king body? Humpbacks are kings?

I think he was referring to the one on the left, it has a pronounced hump. Only time will tell how that changes as it grows.

That's neat. I've seen pictures of the humps before, but didn't know if they were spine issues, sexual dimorphism, or if it was a dominance thing.

The one on the left says:" that's King hump to you.":p

I HAD 5 Burmese Archers in my 170g. Purchased around 2.5-3", about 8 months ago. They used to always chase each other without any damage. But, now at 5"+, for about 2 months now they started picking on each other. Once one gets stressed from the nipping, and de-scaling they die quickly. Down to 3. I hate these damn bastards now! Sorry for ruining the mood, definitely not for small tanks!

Argh, that's what I've read. How big a tank do you think they need? Do you think you'll thin the group to a single fish or leave it at 3?
