deformed ebjd?

Hmmm, Im still of two minds weather to take it or not. I have no intention of breeding them or anything, he ws intended for tankmate for an oscar. The seller also has regular Jacks for sale, might look into one of them instead but the price of the electric blue is pretty damn good despite the beak. Ctrl-Alt-Det mentioned that it may go away, anyone else have experience with them?

Is it beaked? Yeah, it looks like it. Will that correct itself? Not a chance. If the fish is otherwise healthy, it should do just fine, and it doesn't look awful, so if the price is right, and it's just something you want to own, then go for it.

beak-face is an endemic problem with EBJD . . . personally, I hate the look (my own EBJD has a truly ugly face, looks like a grouper) and it is only because of his beautiful blue color that I can stand to look at him

I bought 2 at the same time when they where maybe 1". One turned out to have a beak face and the other looks pretty good. The one with the beak face doesn't have nearly as good of color. To much inbreeding. They are about 4" to 5" now.

Well it turns out I wont be taking the Jack. Was offered a cracking 5 inch male GT for nothing so that settles that. Thanks for the advice guys, have learned alot :)
