Hey everyone,
I happen to be a member here as well & saw this post. THIS IS MY FISH. For those of you who suggested culling it, well good on you, shows your love for fish.
Let me start at the begining. To start off with, I have a rather "Large" collection of fish & tanks for them to live in. "George" is in one of my 8ft tanks. I found him in an aquarium with his birth defect when he was around 10-15cm. The guys in the aquarium had him in a little 2 foot tank. I knew this poor fish didn't have a future & I ended up paying quite a bit for him. I could have bought a perfect fish for the price. I didn't want a RTC knowing what they are like, although my wife and I felt like giving him a home. for you fish keepers, yes money is an object, but fish lovers like us, it does not really matter. The reason I'm asking that price is because he is worth every penny if not more. The ONLY reason I'm thinking of selling him is because we have grown him to what he is & he is ready for a good home. I have a few Red Tail giant gouramis that are growing up fast & need a bit of space. As you guys would agree, I believe its cruel to have a fish if you can't give them enough space.
He is a wonderful fish & an absolute character. Eats off my hand, and believe me, he even ate a large tank mate of his

he was forgiven being the pet in the family. I can't afford to get a larger tank for him, as I dont have any more space. Worst case scenario, we will get rid of some other fish, and put him in with my large temensis & Pacus.
To answer your question about his eating habits, He will eat anything that fits in his mouth. In fact I have difficulty in getting the others their food with him around

)
Thanks, Chris
