Deformity?

I just noticed one of the new fish I got has a strange indentation on its head. Is something wrong with it or is it a little deformed?

Hard to say. Most likely genetic defect but it's nothing to worry about. I cull fry that don't look normal. They become Oscar treats.

Thanks. I figured it was just a defect. I just didnt know if it could be some sort of disease or something also.

Not unless it starts to look white(like a fungal infection) or is raw skin. If it's normal skin color it's just a defect.

Looks like a deformity to me.

Could be a deformity,could be from an injury it got when it was a fry.
