when one door closes that means another one will open... it may be good and it may be bad... you just got to keep your chin up and take life as it is... life's not always fair... "If life were fair, Elvis would be alive and all the impersonators would be dead." --Johnny Carson ....but i hope you get a better job anyways take care

Corperate greed. It is becoming a real epidemic. Big companies blow the big one. Sorry to hear about your situation. By the way, how does "Rallys*****" look on a business card?

Good idea, don't work in another bank. Don't worry about it, simply find something better and they'll be nothing to be depressed about.

I wish I could put that on there. THAT would be a great conversation starter. :) They have my real life boring name on them--Nicole.

Sorry to hear that, those bastards:nutkick: Something better will come around anyways, Maybe we could all quit and start up my idea of manufacturing acrylic tanks:headbang2  But seriously don't get to upset about it, this could be one of the best things that happens to you, just gotta wait a bit and see where life takes you now:)

Now may be the time to start that LFS... or get a job at one...:D

Sux having people decide your future...

i also have a similar situation i worked for a loan company, then they were bought out by a huge banking corp....so now i lost my job to india and am stuck being a "records administrative specialist".....basically im a fricken file clerk now....so i'm on a search for a job closer to home. i work in elmhurst live in lansing....unless the idia takes all those jobs too....
also merging is the only way banks a finance companies can stay alive now a days.....sucks

jg - why don't you find out which office in India stole your job, go over there and beat them all to a bloody pulp? It might make companies think twice about outsourcing to india in future :D

Howdy,

Sorry to hear about your job situation.

It's always hard to get back on your feet if it wasn't you who ended it. The same hold true for relationships, by the way. Anyhow, sounds like you enjoyed your work until recently. I would see what the other position has to offer. Maybe you like it. I wouldn't rule it out. Working with Levi would be nice, but could also be hard. A buddy of mine works at the same company (different brach) as his wife. They have breakfast together, drive to work together, meet for lunch, drive home together, have dinner together, spend the nighty together. He is going insane, he needs a break from his wife! Don't let that happen to Levi or yourself. If you like the job at the other bank, how about moving in between your job and Levi's, so that each of you only has to commute 30 mi?
