delhezi bichir care?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no need to worried they can go a long time without eating and sometimes it takes a new one some time to settle in

Yeah the pictus cats are full. They look like they will pop but still look for more they are crazy. I think I will rehome one of them.

The Del does not look starved. He might be finding some scraps. I need to find a food that he really likes and wants. I am going to work on hand feeding as crazy as that might sound.

I wouldn't hand, just get something smelly or moving, some strong smelling Nls Thera a with garlic, or some hikari massivores, or my personal favorite that I've never seen a poly turn down is earth worms.

+1 to earth worms being a good way to get em going, just cut em up and let em roll

Well good news he eat. My pictus cats look like they are going to bust and my cichlids are not even getting excited for food. So I got a cheap mix of seafood from safe way. I took some crab, shrimp, and squid and cut up some small chunks. He took it. I dropped them right in his safe hide out. Took a little bit but he finally started to eat. I am so happy. The chunks I cut were a bit too big but with time he made them fit. I think he likes crab the best.

Buying the seafood mix from the grocery store is cheaper then fish food or frozen food. This stuff will last me awhile and it was only $2.45.

More good news. He took pellets today and fast. A fat pictus did grab one right before my del went for it. But the del found another and eat it fast. He has a feeding area away from the others in his hide out.

I was stressed thinking he would never get food but we all figured it out. :headbang2
