Delhezi Pricecheck?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Also, is there any reason he seems like he's suckin air hardcore? I definitely don't think it's poor oxygen...Both filters and powerhead create a ton of current...too much oxygen?? lol. Or maybe just getting used to so much oxygen?

I don't know much about Wisconsin fish market, but I'm guessing that the del is priced about right for your location. I just picked up a palmas polli (at least that's what some of the members believe it is). Here is a pic

It is only about 5" but it might be a short bodied. Anyway, right now it is very active.

Not to derail, but thats a nice palmas polli. Lovin the body shape

Check your water params and get back to us.

maybe stress. If possible I would change the sand to a black or red. Fish really pop in color.

Here in MI, I just saw a couple at Fantastic Fins for $45 each at 3". IMO thats a bit steep, but Fantastic Fins seems to be the only store to even get them. So in MI there are pretty rare and thus a bit expensive.

Aquatic warehouse here in San Diego has nice fish but I was was disgusted when I saw a 7" Delhezi there for $100. Some places like to charge an arm and whatever else they can for certain things. I have learned over time that's just the way it is. Anyways the DelheI is overpriced a tad but the Palmas is a decent price

Palmas looked like a senegal and was way too small for my tank, so I got the delhezi for $50, expensive but w/e I want the place to be in business so my heater has a lifetime warranty, I'm pretty good bros w/ the owner, he's my age (21) so I think its BA. He ate a ton of krill tonight and has a huge belly! i love him, he's so cool, can't wait to get him to 12+ inches, even my bro who thinks my fish addiction is overkill likes him. Such a baller.

Just thought I'd update too I got him eating the cichlid pellets I throw in there, Hikari Cichlid excel in fact, heavy in the herbivore dept., I was surprised he ate them greedily, so I gave him a snack :D :D :D big ol' belly now. My GT and JD go crazy for them, my GT is a bit of a vegetarian, doesn't touch the krill for some reason, will be good news for my delhezi when I get the JDs out of there, they've gotta go I think. I want a severum to go in there with the JD, they look awesome. Maybe a Green or Rokteil, they're sooooooooooooooooo cool.
