He was too big for them to eat. They may be adult oscars but he wouldn't fit in their mouths. They just gnawed on him a little too much. That or the Red Zebra killed him. He gets along great with the Oscars

two,yellow labs.having them around seems to calm the demasoni.3m 10f labs in my tank
three,multiple males and more females than males.Spreads the aggression4m12f demasoni in mine
four,the dominant male fish in the tank should not be the demasoni.In my tank the lab.trewavase rules the roost.
Not saying this is the only way to go about it but its a good way to stack the deck in your favor.
