I'm just in there a lot, like every day, and knew after hours of watching it, that this Cuban fit my lifestyle. They can live a very long time and thought the big $ was worth it for 30+ years of pride and joy of owning a Cuban gar.
When I was taking to the owner he said he gets them every time they are on any list but they are hard to get. Americancichlids has cubans on their list two different sizes.

With any rare fish it's just a matter of who gets them first. I don't yet know if mine is farm raised or wild. For the money I payed I'm guessing wild. It was a good 200 more that what most farm raised ones are. You just have to ask to be put on a list and then Andy will keep an eye out for one for you
