Design The Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes that stocking would be fine, I'd say go for like 20 congos max. The congos get big.
About the green terror and angels, I would probably not try it, just because the GT may get aggressive with them and rip their trailing fins. I think angels should really be kept with less aggressive, smaller, non-nippy fish. You could probably do some other smaller SA cichlids with the GT's, cupido comes to mind. But it would be dependent on how your GT's behaved.

i meant:
Angelfish x20
Male Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid x1
Female Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid x3
Male Bristlenose Pleco x1
Female Bristlenose Pleco x2

IMO, 20 angels too many for your tank man. Id go for more like 10-12. You will probably have pairs form, might have problems even with 10, will have to see how things shake out.

Alright i am thinking:
angelfish x10
congo tetra x10
bristlenose x3
cockatoo dwarf cichlid x4
and then i will decided what other tetras i want
also considering discus fish

PS yes i know the tetras have to larger tetras that cant be eaten by the angelfish

Angelfish x10
Male Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid x1
Female Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid x3
Male Bristle nose Pleco x1
Female Bristle nose Pleco x2

I'd go for, this with a group of either columbian tetras, emperor tetras or rummy nose. Lots of wood and plants and will be a very nice tank.

Thank you everyone (Especially Gourami Swami Gourami Swami )

Ignoring their advice?
If I was ignoring it i would not be getting rid of it.
Yes i did impulse buy the BGK (not the aro i was told by multiple people it could live in a 150 for its entire life)

i always wanted a community tank and i think that is what i am going to do.

Fair enough then. There’s no way a silver can live in a 150 for life that’s just bad advice, but if your plans are to re home all your stock and start over that is your decision. A community tank would look awesome best of luck.
