Not any of these fish jumped yet...hopefully never. The key is the 6 inch margin I have. I wouldn't try it 20th an arowana though.

So in terms of all your plants, are the roots just straight into the water? Even extensive googling doesn't yield too much info, always mentions soil for the spider plant types etc
I just started experimenting with a similar idea, and I really like the look so far. Looking forward to the pothos taking over on top, i'll train it up the wall and all over the place when it gets long enough. The 10 gallon on the side is tied into the same sump fyi.
