Hi,

I am thinking of making a spawning place to allow our Orinos to... lay their eggs (in mud pond).

Would be like a ceramic eating plate on a tripod made of metal.
A cover made of a net could be use once the eggs are fertilized.

What do you think about that?

What could be a better idea?

Would ceramic plates be attractive to them?

How far should the plates be distanced?

I'd probably give them a variety of surfaces to spawn on. A large rock. A large tree branch. A flat rock. Etc. I don't think they are necessarily that picky as long as they have a smooth, hard surface.

And why the net over the eggs?

Glad to see you're making an attempt! Have you seen any spawning behavior?

No spawning behaviour yet.
I m preparing.

The "cover" would be a kind of claw netted to grab the plate with the eggs on it.
Then underwater, put the plate in a bucket and transport it to a hatchery jar...
