How long are the africans in there for again? I'm too lazy to check. lol

How many are there?
there are maybe 15 large ones 15 medium sized ones and 10 small ones

oh and they'll be in the tank till august
And the next important question is are there any bichirs I could put in with these Africans without any problems?

Bump

Any upper jaw species would be great... In theory.

I'm not too sure how aggressive the Africans are, so I can't say safely.

Ok they are pretty active so I think if I go with something less active they'll leave eachother alone!

Ok so I'm thinking maybe delhezi retropinnis or ornate
I'm worried a del might be 2 active, an ornate might get too big, and I don't know much about a retro?

Ornates will probably get too big for an 18" wide tank. Not for a while, but they will....

A Dels activity level can be disputed. Some put them on the same level as sens, other say their endlis are more active... I guess it depends. I have a feeling they are less active with temps below 82 and frequent feeding, than they are with higher temps and less feeding.

Retros... They will definately fit, and be fine for life. The concensus as far as I can tell is that they are considered one of the species that is more active. I wouldn't consider them as active as Sens, but they aren't quite as lazy as Laps for example.

Ok so a small del would probably be my best bet

It'a a coin flip with those africns in there, but a del might be your best bet... I just don't want to tell you it will be OK and then have something happen... you know? ;)
