Developing peacock best colors

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great water quality, lots of space, one male of species, good filtration and current.. Along with a variety of flakes and pellets. :) Does the trick for me.

Ok, thanks for the advices, I would definitely try hikari because of the feedback. Do you have any suggestion on what hikari feed I can try?

I like Kensfish color flakes.

But more important is good stock and water changes.

I like F1 or F2 fish, from a reputable (i.e. not random LFS) source. I try to buy at 1-2".

Doing weekly 75% water changes isn't too much.

Water quality and good, varied foods.

NLS and San Fransico Bat Brands.

The best bet is to get good fish... Sure good food helps (I use NLS, and Xtreme fish food). But getting a good fish to start of with is key.
