Mine still has not taken to pellets, or at least he just does'nt take them infront of my.. so far no casualties, cant seem to find my baby jag though..hmmm... maybe..

I think you can try pumping him up to a larger size first before converting to pellets. I think they looked a bit fragile at such a size, and they may not be fed that much or well previously in the LFS. I am getting mine to a comfortable size first...

mines are lazy... they dont move too much... i drop shrimps on top of them...
