How big a tank were the original Dovi/Midas in that produced these hybrids? How big a tank do you have the hybrids in? Looks like a nice set up! Would love to see how big these hybrids get!

Hiya there Mate the Original Dovii/Midas were about 6-7" and were in a 7x2x2 Tank before i got rid of them as i didnt want them to breed again as i didnt want this to happen but, seen as it did happen once i thought i would grow these on there own, i have a 5x2x2(mums) at the moment and i also have a corner unit(in mine) with some of them in that.... the set up in the corner unit is just a few plants all together at the back corner and a few Pieces of bogwood just in front of that!

I'm sorry to hear that you got rid of your dovii/midas hybrids. I have enjoyed reading the entire story line behind your fish and their breeding. Thanks for sharing.

Hiya there mate i havnt got rid of my Devildovii's i was explaining to someone else that i had tro get rid of there Parents Father-Dovii Mother-Red Devil i still have the Hybrids? i have about 8-9 of them left.....

Man this is the best thread going right now! I was dissapointed that you got rid of the parents. But I am eager as hell to see the DOVIL grow out. Nice work nice work indeed! I think this is a first for many but it is a for sure first for me.
