very nice fish, mine passed away over the weekend which I had him for over 6 years, he attained the length of just under 8 inches, he is currently in the freezer, pic upon request.

Yes sir, they are hardy cichlids too. I've had mine for over two years now. My one fish that never died regardless of the move. They are definately tried and true. If it wouldn't be too much of a hassle I'd love to see pictures of yours!! Mine is only about 5", but would be awesome to see one at 8"!!!
