anybody got suggestions, besides the obvious "DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!" :nilly:

A real popular set right now is a center diamond (usually princess cut) surrounded by S.A. Black Diamonds in a small cluster baguette on a tungsten/platinum band.

BTW, with this you wouldn't want to get the highest clarity, probably an e or f (another plus, because that will be cheaper)

Do you have a friend in the diamond buisness?

And, honestly. I hope you slap statistics in the face. "DO IT"
haha Shane Co? thats actually who ive been looking at :)

ive really only looked at James Allen and Shane Co. shane co seems to have better prices...

If you're shopping ethically, a pink diamond would be the way to go. There is a very small chance that a pink diamond will be a blood diamond, since they mostly come from Australia.

That is important to some people. If you go the pink diamond route, a nice supplement gemstone would be a high quality tanzanite.

go for a simple, classic cut. hey i bet she won't look at the ring that much but concentrate more on what you're saying ;)

see i dont think shed like a pink stone; more into the traditional white gold/princess cut. are these usually cheaper or more expensive than a regular diamond?
