Amazing sturgeon. My first tank had a retic ray and a shovelnose sturgeon but let's just say I had some learning to do and it didn't last. Id love to keep the ray sturgeon combo again. Black sturgeon are suuuuuper nice. Maybe one day lol....

Very mellow. Just swims around continuously. The rays mess with him every so often and he darts away. Eats pellets, too, so easy to care for.

Where's ur tank temp at? I know I lost mine years ago to poor water quality tho it was in 78deg. water. Also how large do black sturgeons get?
Not too finicky. They can dart pretty fast and hard if they're nipped or startled. I think I paid $175 shipped when he was a lot smaller.
