I hope not these are interesting fish... Unfortunately on forums in general any time you post these you will always get a bunch of uninformed blather, mostly by those who have never worked with the fish.. (I'm happy to see you not asking how to keep them, it tells me you already did that work which is kudos for you IMO)

I'd like to see how you do with them as I've been thinking myself of picking up a few of these. All that I have seen though have had the same underfed issue and this is a concern when working with sturgeon. Unfortunately many of these fish once they get like this become even more touchy then they already are. It is often hard to pull them out of it.

Anyways good luck and I do hope to see updates on these fish.
 
Nice fish. Seems to be mostly concern since nobody knew that you had a pond, etc etc. Anyhow- where can I get some of these babies? :-)

lol you really want one? there is a guy in florida that breeds them, and he has a few other kinds

This fish is being captive bred in Florida?!

Now that would surprise me and make me happy at the very same time.
