Yep,when I got one for the first time I tried keeping it in brackish and then I learned that most captive Terrapins are kept in fresh so I've kept them that way ever since.

Ive seen a few listings. But theyre either the size of a quarter or $200 a piece. Where are the non overpriced 2.5-3 inchers? Haha. How well do hatchling/yearling turtles swim? Dont want them to be helpless in my big tub!

They are born swimmers,when they hatch they make a run for the water.
