did you get the fish lice problem treatment started. i told you they were hard to see lol. also you will have to treat all tanks just to be sure though since you have been doing some moving around of the fish. i used jungle ponds anchors away for mine and that seemed to work the best. sorry i wasnt available when you first posted about it to try and help either. also how did the new girls look did any have lice or any other problems?

ya i got para gaurd and treated all the tanks that any fish from the raytanks went in...idk were that louse came from...it wasn't there 2hrs before then bam full grown louse inbetween her eyes:screwy:...i treated the new girls anyway even though i saw no lice...

they were perfict...only one had a very small amount of fungus on the tail...ones tail was short, but it looks like it had been that way for a while...3 were real small(2.5"), one was 5-6" and she has a crazy pattern with a super long tail...she is atleast 13" from tip to tip...all three are eatting good and active...i did an extra treatment of prazi pro and i will do another of para gaurd before i try to get them on blood worms...as that is what the other 2 i have are on and i am starting to soak shrimp in black worm juices to try to get them to eat that...

Any pics yet? Those little ones are really small, can't imagine they are very old.

If your bag water pH is the same as your tank, and your bag temp is the same as your tank, you really don't need to acclimate.

It all depends on the each individual situation. If you open a bag, the water smell foul, the ammonia is through the roof from waste accumulating during transport, why bother acclimating ? You'll risk less chance of death by shock VS ammonia poisoning.

I usually drip new fish for about 30 minutes max. Start slow and increase your drip

i put them all in a pan and did a drip with an airline open all the way for 15min...then put them in...they were fine...the one i added direct was freaking out bad and died...

pH shock is a myth. Osmotic shock isn't. And most people don't test hardness.

i don't have a hardness test
