Did any of you guys ever get sidetracked with fishkeeping?

A couple weeks ago I spent A LOT of time on MFK and I had like hundreds of posts a day. Now I'm getting sidetracked by certain things. I think I'm gonna lay low with fish keeping for a while. I need to sell off everything except my convicts. I'll keep them in the 55 until I can get my big tank built. I'm not gonna need the space for a while either. Until I can get my tank built ill keep my fish (convict pair) in the 55. Has anyone else ever been distracted by things and not been into fish keeping? If you wanted to know girls are the reason I'm not really on that much amymore. I'm always away from home now and have no time for fish. So I'm gonna stay low for awhile with a convict pair only.

I think I can speak for the rest of the forum when I say: Yes, we all have at one time or another. Although fishkeeping is a beautiful and fun hobby, there are things in life that are just more important.

Just great your fish hobby toward the ladies. Have one tank that's clean and beautiful and stock it worth sexy, bizarre, mystic fish to wow them and be impressed by. Rays, elephant nose, etc. oscars aren't going to do it.

Hate to say it, but we told you so...

Life happens and people change their minds... Just be glad that you didnt already build that large tank you wanted... Coz i have a feeling another year or two and you may not even be into fish any more...

Im guilty about the girl thing, but i still make room for my animals even if that means doing water changes at 2am... Im a normal guy by day and night but between 12am
-4am Im a hardcore zoo keeper.
