Only 2 billion people watched around the world, nearly a third of earths population.

So some inbred guy married a ghetto girl. Only positive about all that is, that finally some fresh blood comes into that degenerated family. Funny that UK is almost bancrupt, can´t offer Universities anymore but spends 25.000.000 for such nonsense.

really i allways find having a small amount of knowledge for a statemnt is useful as for royal family when the queen makes a speach iin one of the commom wealth countries people stand up and listen beacause she's been though more world changing periods than any other person still alive and been vastly in for front of control, thats just fact because you dont have a monarch doesnt make it bad.

Bottom line weddings are boring , but slating englands history and culture for cheap insults is low. dont have to embrace it like the x factor export you love so much just a bit of tact

I was staying at home sick yesterday so I watched it. Nothing better was on t.v. in the afternoon. It was not live of course by then. It's a bigger deal here in Canada because we are more tied to England than the USA is. Later on in the day I was watching the news and there were many parties in B.C. for the wedding. Mostly old people though lol.
Atleast Elton John was there.

No, being a dude pretty much limits my interest in the fairy tale business. But if you watch new channels, it is impossible to say you haven't heard about 1000% more about it than you ever really cared to know.

She is not a ghetto girl at all. She is from a middle to upper middle class family, resonable well off but because her dad has worked hard for it. Her ancestors were mostly made up of minors, so I suppose they could be called "ghetto" if you will.

I watched a programme about her heritage called "Meet the Middletons" and it traced her ancestry.
She is related to Prince William but only from an extremely distant relative from the 16th century or something close to that. Really the link is so far back that it really is not even worth mentioning. It is only bevause of who it is that everyone seems to care.
You can legally marry your cousin in most countries and that genetic link is far closer to being inbred, and all the genetic niceties that come with it, than William and Kates.
If we all were able to trace that far back then I am sure half of us would get a few surprises. It is too far back to matter.

Also a FYI to the intelligent well informed gentlemen a few posts up, if it wasn't for the UK half of Europe would be in the toilet. Countries from the Eurozone are constantly coming with their hands open begging for a handout because they are going under. We can't be that close to bankruptcy if countries that have the Euro keep coming to us for handouts to save them and we are one of the few countries that hasn't come begging.
