Reminds me of the Crappie fish i used to catch when i was a kid but these are red. Sucks they are invasive, I bet Florida has some monster cichlids from everywhere lurking in the local lakes,rivers,ponds.

Yeah atleast down in south Florida. They have clown knife fish, arrowanas, red tailed cats and shovel noses too

This guy was caught while I was tarpon fishing in a brackish water lake
