Did I steal this fish?(:<

So today I went and picked up some fish when I noticed an unmarked tiny pleco.. I knew he was a gold nugget but asked the employee(not one of the fish specialists) if it was a gold nugget he said I'm pretty sure and I then asked him how much he called his manager(who was not there) and the manager claimed it was a bristle nose and not a gold.. He shook his head at me and said you just got a steal if you want him he's 2$ lmao so here's my new baby gold nugget pleco! I looked up prices and they sell for 20+ ( his gold doesn't show in the pic very well but let me know if I made out well!?

It doesn't have any of the characteristics of the bristle though.. It looks just like a gold

Gold nuggets have a gold trim to the fins, not looking like a gold nugget but more like a juvie bristolnose.

It's tail fins are ripped but you can see the same gold ill try and get a better pic
