I simply changed my ehfisynth and washed my bio media in tank water. Also cleaned the course sponge in tank water washed down the ceramic rings in sink water. Put it back together and there seems to be air trapped inside it but the flow is down significantly. If I shake it an air bubble or two pops up. Where did my flow go ? Is there an air pocket that I am supposed to somehow release???
 
Also thanks for the tip guys on using the petroleum jelly on the double tap connectors this is so far the first time I have not had an irritating drip every 2 minutes leak.

Nope good question though! i believe you can... get one it mentioned an optional one in the install pamphlet :irked:

Yeah for some reason I have it stuck in my head that's a no no its just not in the directions but. IMO well worth it all things considered .
