ill try to restart the bad boy see if that helps. Water is coming out quite a bit just about half as much as before. Im probably gonna have to crack it open and filler all the way up.

it was my Eheim 2028 pro 2.

-intake was too low
-stingrays stirred up sand a little bit
-$hitty sand
= big problems

and the ***head at the LFS sold me this prefilter sponge for the intake that did *** all. you should of seen this sand i was using, it stuck to everything; it was like ''stucco''

That sucks hope its all sorted out without too many expenses...:nilly:

the manager was able to fix it, everyone else was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. they were blaming every possible thing on me, so they could just sit back and do *** all about it.

then the manager stepped in and he solved the problem. one of the staff miss placed a part, they couldn't prove it was me or him so they replaced it free of charge. he also cleaned every single part of my filter for free as well.

one thing i didn't mention was i had to back 3 times before he helped me. each time i had to go back the bs got worse. on top of all that i had just got my rays and i didn't have my FX 5. so i didn't have a filter for 72 hours.....:screwy:

but its all good now!!:D:headbang2

OMG no filter at all with rays = running around like a damn beheaded chicken:nilly: I would have lost it trying to get it repaired.
The last time I got my fluval repaired they hooked it up on the back of their sump. I never bought fish from that place because they were disgustingly bad..... So essentially I got the polar opposite of your filter cleaning. I got my canister exposed to every nasty in the aquatic world.
