Did Monster Energy drink kill 5 people?

Let me know when you get around to starting up and running a web forum with out of pocket cash and from nowhere else.

I'M NOT begrudging this website just wondering why we are being solicited to SAVE a logo with our money PEOPLE that want to give ...fine ,BUT lets keep in perspective what is being saved and why ... monster is gonna try to grind mfk into the ground with an endless game of lawsuits... ...I have seen it done.. to attorneys I know ..this is gonna cost lots of money and monster may still win...all the while the people making SOME money off THIS website (once again I am NOT begrudging)are fighting monster with YOUR MONEY ... just saying..it would be EASIER TO CHANGE THE LOGO...

At the end of the day it is up to each individual member to decide what causes they champion and where they send their hard earned money to...you don't want to add to the war chest,fine,don't...I would hope that the MFK legal team would be able to advise their client honestly and guide them carefully through this situation....Lord knows I'm in no position to attempt to do so:ROFL:.

I almost suspect that the girl's drink was purchased with an ACCESS card.

That's what I heard on the news too -- (2) cans, 24oz each. What surprised me, though, is that the kid drank it over the course of two days. They also said a Monster drink has the caffeine of 7 cups of coffee. I don't know if they're referring to a regular sized Monster or that super-sized one the kid drank.
Whomever said that parents need to step up to the plate & parent their kids, I agree!
Westie--I agree wholeheartedly--we are a sue-happy country. It's sick. That's a big reason that medical costs are so high. If a patient doesn't like some results, the doc gets a malpractice lawsuit. The doc often loses, the malpractice insur premiums go up, patient cost has to go up. It's all ridiculous.
Back to the poor kid--God rest her soul. R.I.P.

the 14 yr old girl's death is top of the news right now.

out here they call em EBT

Oh okay...I shouldn't make fun of those who might need such a card but it probably ties in here.....What sort of parent would allow their ailing child to drink such a beverage?..Is it even marketed to kids,I know it can't be meant for them...
