Interesting that they would fast before dropping eggs, you would think that they would need to bulk up some. I believe delgado said his would fast also before dropping, and his dropped eggs about once a year for three years in a row.

i am thinking they go through a change in their chemistry when they are in breeding mode or carrying eggs.. i really think it has something to do with fasting ..just have to prove it... how i don't know.. are there any pics of delgado eggs and arows?
 
Seems like I remember him having pics after one of the drops, you'd have to search his old threads.
 
wow you must be like a fish keeping goddess!!! i only know off one other person who has had an aro lay eggs!!! so is that why captive breed aros are so much more exspensive? beutifull aro btw. would love to see more pix of her...:)
