ok so i did my second water change, and my levels are
amonia is between 10 and 15
ph is between 8.4 and 8.8
nitrie is 0ppm
nitrate is 10ppm

sounds like you got another week or two before any fish can be added. How long has the tank been cycling?? Whats in it now, any cleaning crews, live rock, live sand??

ok i testes it again to day and hereare the results
amonnia 1.0
nitrate is 0ppm
nitrite.25ppm
ph 8.4 to 8.8

i have about 100lbs of live sand 5lbs of live rock and 2 damsels

congrats.. your nitrites have started to spike!

:)

nitrite will rise rather high before it starts to go down, but you will see some nitrate start to register as well, and this is the end result of the cycle. Once ammonia and nitrite are both down to 0, then do you last water change of the cycle and you should be in clear for you clean up crew if you want one, let them settle for a while and then add another fish or so.

What size tank is this?? is this going to be a reef or fish only?
