Isn't FAUX a French word? Zee advertisement people think vee are zo stee-ooup-ed, zatt vee cannot read zee word and know exactly vhatt it means! They figure hey, Coke/Pepsi - Pepsi/Coke, it's all the same to them! Oh, by the way, I love French ppl, French dressing, French cars, ummmmmm-didn't mean to cut on the French. I was just cutting on the advertising company/furniture company. I'll stop now!

No.There are different types of fake or man made leather.Pleather used to be the best in synthetic leathers but it has a plasticy quality about it,hence it's name.The faux leather is the best of all of the fake stuff.It almost smells leathery.
