DId your datnoids ever had an eating strike?

I wouldn't trust any suppliers "quarantined" feeders. Usually feeders are kept packed tight in tanks. Hard to notice a few fish starting to get sick when they are swimming around in hundreds. Same applies if a hobbiest stocks them in great numbers for months. If not getting sick, they would be swimming around in what can be poor water quality the whole time.

Quarantined feeders also will not do anything to help get your fish to eat other foods.
 
wow.. point noted.. its just interesting to see them hunt once in a while.. but i guess staying away from the risk of transferred diseases is good too
