Die-hard, irresistable food for clown knife?

Bloodworms if he's a small guy, currently have a 15 inch that I've raised since maybe 3 inches.... If he's larger than 6 inches, I'd say put way too many feeder minnows in there so he gets a chance at a few of em, the food cost will suck for a while, but it won't take him long to equal up in size to the rest of your tank...

Dude it's a clown knife fish. Wait till night time, turn tank lights off and throw some market prawns/shrimp (pieces) and that food will be gone in minutes. He's still a baby so very small pieces. That worked for my clown when mine couldn't get any food cuhz of my oscar fish. Good luck bro.

all those agressive cichlids are terrible tankmates for CK,

+1.... And why u woild even try a tank like that with a sickly one is worse.... if u know its gonna have to compete for food get a strong one.... I understand if u wanted to save ot from death but have a diff tank for that.... Mine goes toe tp toe with my aro for market shrimp n when the aro wins every now and then the ck will like nip at its tail lol.... Never takes a pieve of it tho which is weird but oo well
