I've had shovelnose sturgeons, they eat like pigs! I fed them Daphnia magna, black worms and chopped Earth worms. they need to be fed regularly, keep them fat. It's been many years but I would love to have some more shovelnose sturgeons. They are much better suited to an aquarium than most of the ones we get and they are native.
