I got told that a diet consisting of just prawn is bad for your fish.

Is this true?

If so, what else can be fed to compliment, preferbley something that doesn't break up in water.

ps. It's for a Gulper Catfish.

pps. no feeders, they don't sell em.

A varied diet of seafood is fine. 100% anything would be rather bland and certain to lack in vitamins and minerals. You could feed fish filets, scallops, mussels, shrimp, crab, squid, etc...

if you want, you can stuf the shrimp with pellets to make sure they are getting more nutrients

What pellets would you recommend for the Gulper?

-in UK-

Yep, that's what I read about prawn ballinouttacntrol.

NLS pellets of course!

Which one?

It's really expensive in the UK since it has to be imported by the retailer. Not many have it.

I've used it before for my Malawis though, good stuff.

The prawn stuffed with pellets is a good idea! I'll have to try it!

New life spectrum. Variety is the key to keeping fish healthy. Hikari cichlid gold is a good one. Krill as well. But if you order from big als they have free shipping over a certain amount, I would get some more food. Big Als' has NLS.
