Heres the deal,
Due to aggersion in my aro tank I had to give a dose of salt one morning and decided to go ahead and dose my pbass growout tank too(even though it did not need it).

Being in a hurry and not having time to dissolve the salt correctly I just put the salt in a zip lock bag, put a couple of pin holes in it and threw it in the tank thinking it would dissolve without the pbass getting to it.

when I got home from work that day 5 of my 2'' orino's had made there way in to the bag and were eating the salt.
Now I just got my orino's off of live food a couple of days ago and the only thing I was able to get them to eat was cut up shrimp and tilapia, buy since the salt incedent they still go after it but just spit it right out.

Do you guys think damage was done or they just rathered salt?

Also I hear you guys talking a lot about using garlic so I went to my LFS and they had nothing with garlic extracts, could I use regular garlic powder ?

I forgot to mention that I did throw a couple of feeder guppys in the tank to see if they would eat that and they took them.
Not the salt for sure it was the guppies...They are hopen!!!

Nah they will eat if they are hungry ...

One of my peacock bass ate a piece of salt and died. FML.... Not as lucky as you. Its better to get the garlic extracts from the LFS. Wont wanna take the chance haha
