Young aros are primarily insectivores. Get it some baby crickets from your lfs. You can even gutload the crickets on any high protein and/or vitamin enriched foods. The aro will receive the added nutrition from eating the loaded crickets.

Crickets love carrots and that's what I gutload my crickets with. You could also remove the legs before feeding them to young aros. The easiest way of doing this is freezing them in a container and them shaking the container when they're frozen. This removes the legs (and some of the heads) :D
