Difference between armatus and sabertooth?

That's the way the earth is turning. 80% of the time the vendors tend to id their fish to be the more expensive one if they're not sure, or looking for suckers. That's why you always ask for pics.

so you guys are saying if i order the 30 dollar vampire tetra on my lfs list then i might get a armatus thats worth 500?

You're more likely to get a Scomb for $500 than a Armatus for $30 because some vendors, wholesalers, exporters feel that if they can get away with it, then they'll do it.

ok well your saying youll accidentely get an armatus. so there must be something on the fish that can let u know that it is indeed an armatus and not a wolf tetra or whatever. theres no difference what soever?
