My experience with baby rhomb is they are pretty delicate. Don’t expect them to be the mighty vicious killers they have a reputation for. Not until they get some size on them anyway. Mine were killed by black convicts when I tried to feed the convicts to the p.
Use your best judgment and maybe use tools to do maintenance rather than stick your hand inside. If the fish seems to attack the tools (which I have never personally seen) then might not be a good idea. Usually they are more scared of you than anything. Possibly different when they are bigger sized tho.
