Belonesox are a trip to work with. I've had them a few times but never managed to keep them for long periods of time or as a sustained population. They really are quite difficult to work with in the long term in a standard set up. If I had the room to devote I'd like to try pond raising them with a colony of something like convicts or Gambusia affinis. This would likely do very well for them. Tank culture is very problematic.
